How to read your kundali: the twelve houses
A birth chart looks like a diagram you need somebody else to interpret. It is twelve rooms and nine occupants, and once you know what each room is for, most of a reading is legible on your own.

Which direction should your main door face?
North, east and north-east are the directions usually named. The reasoning behind them is more practical than most explanations admit — and if your door faces elsewhere, that is not the problem you have been told it is.

Rahu Kaal: why the time is different every day
Most people remember Rahu Kaal as a fixed hour on a particular weekday. It is not one. It is a fraction of the daylight, which is why it moves through the year and differs between two cities on the same day.

The compass lives on your phone
The app reads your phone’s compass, so you can stand in a doorway and see which way it really faces. Set up your home once — rooms, floors, bedrooms and their bathrooms — and it walks you through each one.
- A live compass, with interference reported honestly
- Your home set up once: floors, bedrooms and bathrooms
- Readings kept per room, on every property you manage
- Your kundali and the astrologer, on the same account
The Android app is not on Google Play yet. Everything on this site works in your browser today, and your account carries over when it arrives.
Questions people ask
Is it really free?
Yes. The Vastu guides, your kundali, matching, the panchang and numerology are free and need no account. An account keeps your charts and the people you read for, and is needed for the astrologer.
Where do the Vastu answers come from?
From one rule table: every placement, from the main door to the borewell, judged in each of the eight directions, with the reason and the traditional remedy. The website and the app read the same table, so they can never disagree.
Which ayanamsha do you use?
Lahiri, also called Chitrapaksha — the one the Indian government adopted and almost every Indian almanac is printed with. Your chart shows its exact value for your birth moment, so you can check our arithmetic against any panchang you trust.
Why is there no compass on the website?
Because a browser cannot read a phone’s magnetometer reliably. Rather than show a compass that is quietly wrong, each guide shows how to take the reading with any compass, and the app does it with your phone’s own sensor.
Is the astrologer a real person?
No, and we will not pretend otherwise. It is an AI that has been given your chart, your dasha and your readings, and is instructed to reason within Vedic astrology. It is not a person, and it should not replace one for anything that matters.
