How the dates are worked out
Pradosh Vrat is kept on the evening Trayodashi covers pradosh, taken as the 144 minutes after sunset; when it covers pradosh on two evenings, the one it covers longer. The puja time shown is the part of pradosh in which Trayodashi still runs, calculated for the city chosen.
